Be cautious of fraudulent calls or text messages purporting to be the Court. Please call (505) 841-8400 to verify any communication from the Court.
PLEASE REVIEW THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION CAREFULLY.
This information is for jurors who have been summoned for a three to four week term of jury service.
Once you have completed your forms online, you may be asked to report to the court for jury selection at any point within the service dates listed on your summons. This DOES NOT mean that you will necessarily need to report every day for the full 3 weeks.
You DO NOT need to call us for reporting information. The jury division will contact you at least two (2) business days in advance of needing you to report via email, text message or phone call. Please do not report until you receive an instruction to do so. Please check your phone calls, voicemails, emails or text messages each day after 5pm during the session. These notifications are the most accurate indication of whether you need to report for jury selection. You may also check the Juror Portal, however the portal usually takes 1 – 2 days to update. On the Portal, “On Call” means that you are currently not needed to report and “Reporting” means that you are needed to report on the date listed.
In addition, some jurors may receive a link to a supplemental questionnaire via email or a physical copy in the mail to aid in efficient jury selection for larger cases. Please complete any supplemental questionnaire sent to you by the due date listed on the questionnaire.
Please also take a few moments to watch the Petit Jury Information Video.
CELL PHONE POLICY:
You may only enter the courthouse with your cell phone or electronic device if you present a copy of your jury summons to security. If you need a new copy of your summons, please call the court at 505-841-7507 or email us at albdjury@nmcourts.gov. Please note: You WILL NOT be able to enter the courthouse with your phone or electronic device without a copy of your summons.
When you have been instructed to report, please report on time and remember to park at the METRO PARK GARAGE. It’s located just north of Metropolitan Court, with an entrance from 5th Street. Going north from Lomas on 5th Street, follow the big yellow signs for juror parking. When you enter the garage, choose the option that says “Get Ticket” DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PARKING TICKET IN YOUR CAR. You must bring it with you in order to have it validated.
