PLEASE REVIEW THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION CAREFULLY:

This information is for jurors who have been summoned for a three-month term of grand jury service. Please read the following information very carefully. If you have been summoned for a three week term of service please see Petit Jury Duty Information.

After you have received your summons, please submit your qualification and questionnaire forms through the Juror Portal. The Juror Portal can be accessed here. Once you have completed your forms online, you will be asked to report for Grand Jury orientation on the first day of the term listed on your summons. Grand Jury orientation usually lasts no longer than 3 hours. Attending orientation DOES NOT mean that you will necessarily need to report every day for the full three months listed on your summons. Grand jurors will typically come in 2-3 days during their three month term.

The Jury Division will contact you one week in advance from needing you to report for Grand Jury Orientation via email, text or mail. Once you have been orientated, you will receive further instructions on how the court will contact you when you are needed.

CELL PHONE POLICY:

When reporting for Grand Jury Orientation, you WILL NOT be allowed to bring your cell phone or other electronic devices like laptops, tablets, etc. Please leave these devices in your car or at home. After orientation, you will be given an electronic voucher that will allow you to bring in electronic devices in when you are called on to serve.

When you have been instructed to report, please report on time and remember to park at the METRO PARK GARAGE. It’s located just north of Metropolitan Court, with an entrance from 5th Street. Going north from Lomas on 5th Street, follow the big yellow signs for juror parking. When you enter the garage, choose the option that says “Get Ticket” DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PARKING TICKET IN YOUR CAR. You must bring it with you in order to have it validated.

Thank you.
