Tips to Know and Use

  • Show Up for Pretrial Intake! Don’t start your supervision with a violation! It just makes everything harder and longer for you. If your hearing is on a Friday and you don’t come right away, you must come to Pretrial Services the following Monday before 1:00pm.
  • Don’t Pick Up New Criminal Charges! New charges will definitely complicate and prolong this process.
  • Show Up to Court! Attend all court hearings. Call your assigned pretrial officer or your attorney if you have questions about your next hearing.
  • Sign Up for Automatic Court Date Reminders! Get text messages and/or emails sent directly to your smartphone! It is the best way to know when and where to be and help you make a plan to get there!
  • Ordered to random drug testing? Call the UA Testing Line Every Day! (Even Saturdays, Sundays and holidays). (505) 515-0062
    • Report for drug testing regardless of recent drug use, missed calls to the UA line, or missed drug tests.
    • Remember: Not calling or avoiding UA testing may result in a more difficult and longer process than a positive drug test.
  • Have you moved or have a new phone number? Let us know right away.
  • When in doubt, contact us! It helps most to call or stop by if you have any questions, concerns, or are feeling unsure about your pretrial supervision.
  • Communication is the key to your success! If afterhours, leave a voice message and we will return your call.
